At the same time, the Hai Phong City’s People’s Committee also requested the Prime Minister to agree on the construction of an 18-hole golf course at FLC Do Son, adding to the overall planning of golf courses in Vietnam until 2020.

According to the investment plan proposed by FLC Group, FLC will construction a complex including 4 main functional precincts: tourism service urban precinct, golf precinct, resort precinct, supporting landscape precinct on an area of 500ha, with an expected total investment cost of 233 million USD.

The project will include a 1,500-seat International Convention Center, luxurious eco-urban resort, 5 and 6-star hotels with approximately 1,000 rooms, residential complex, commercial housing, parks, entertainment centers, golf course and supporting landscapes (beaches, water areas, greeneries..) by the waterfront on the West coast of the Do Son complex.

This complex is designed by Schmidt-Curley Design (the US’s leading design consultant), with the purpose of maintaining maximum natural landscapes and a below 10% construction density. Most constructions will use green architecture and renewable energy to increase sustainability.

The project will have convenient traffic connections as it lies at the heart of Do Son’s sea tourism hub, with comprehensive infrastructure, near international sea and airports and the North’s trading centers.

Hai Phong City’s People’s Committee recognizes the development of this complex as a meaningful step in the growth of the tourism industry in particular and the socio-economic development of Hai Phong City in general.
